“ Great breakfast buffet with toast as BIG as your face. The service is great and the atmosphere is is very western. ”
“ Very good comfort food resides west of Houston in Columbus. The drive is worth it. My husband had the German plate with sausage and pan fried potatoes. I had the liver and onions that were prepared just like my mom used to make. Get your piece of pie to go if you don't have room. The coconut merengue was divine. ”
“ Stop at this restaurant because of the reviews and they did not disappoint. The food is fantastic, customer service is great and the restaurant just feels homey and inviting. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or passing by. ”

“ At least 3-4 times a year we make the trip to Columbus to eat fried chicken at schoebels. I know people like their buffet but ordering the friend chicken off the menu and waiting for them to fry it up fresh for you is worth every minute of the wait. Did I mention they have the best chicken noodle soup too? Double check the soup selection on the day you go as they rotate depending on the day of the week. The restaurant is always clean and the wait staff is friendly. Definitely a winning combination! ”
“ Old school buffet vibe reminded me of the places my aunts & uncles would take my sister and I as kids. Amazing fried chicken and everything so fresh. The cheese block was a lot of fun to carve slices off of. One of the best salad bar offerings I have ever experienced. The staff was attentive and friendly. My sweet tea glass was always full. Our server checked on us often. ”
“ Awesome delicious food! Down home cooking at its best. All you can eat. Our waitress was Mariah and she kept our tea and coffee full while we kept our plates filled at the buffet. A huge wagon wheel adorns the ceiling and adds to the country flair of the place. A giant tree in the parking lot affords ample shade for parking. ”
“ Amazing home style food! With a super friendly staff that offered great service. I wasn't surprised to see that place was really popular with locals as it had a cozy ambiance with nice bathrooms . My only downside was that the menu did not communicate the fact the sausage from the German plate would be somewhat spicy due to it having black pepper in it but I'm not to bothered by that, I should have figured it would have been like that since it's home made. Otherwise it was a great place to stop by and have a bite. ”
